About My Practice
If you're feeling anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or going through a major life change, you don't have to figure it out alone. I work with adults, children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, depression, stress, illness, grief, and life transitions. My goal is to help you feel better and find insight, relief, and confidence as you move forward.
I use a form of cognitive behavioral therapy called TEAM-CBT, which blends cognitive, emotional, and behavioral tools to help you make real, lasting change. Together, we'll build on your own strengths and values as we work towards your goals.
My approach is active, collaborative, and grounded in trust. We'll work side by side to understand what's getting in the way, practice new tools, and check in regularly to monitor progress. Many people I work with begin to see meaningful progress within 8-12 sessions.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 30 years as an attorney helping people through profound loss and adversity. As a young mom, I faced cancer myself- an experience that deepened my respect for the complexity of people's lives and for the resilience we often don't realize we have. I come from a multicultural background and can offer a multicultural perspective in therapy. These experiences shape the way I practice today. My past experience enables me to empathize with individuals who are suffering. I can help you discover a renewed sense of purpose and balance and help you heal and grow in ways that feel authentic and meaningful to you.
