About My Practice

I work with adults, couples, and individuals navigating grief and early adulthood transitions, and I've walked this road myself. I've experienced significant loss in my own life, so when clients come to me grieving, I'm not just working from a textbook. I get it, and I can sit with you in the hard stuff without flinching. For years I've also volunteered with Pet Therapy at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, sitting with families during some of their hardest moments, which has only deepened that connection.

My path to therapy wasn't traditional. Before earning my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco, I spent over 30 years in tech, starting with an engineering degree from Texas A&M, then building executive relationships and leading teams at IBM, Symantec, and as CIO of an early e-commerce startup. That career taught me how to really listen, solve problems, and stay steady under pressure, skills I now bring straight into the therapy room, along with tools from my training through the Feeling Good Institute.

I love working with clients who are curious, open, and ready to do the work, even when it's scary. Together we'll dig into what's really going on and build a path toward feeling capable, secure, and at peace.

My style is casual and grounded. No jargon, no judgment, just honest conversation. If this sounds like a fit, I'd be glad to talk.
