About My Practice

Are you finding it hard to enjoy your life, even when things seem like they "should" be okay? Feeling stuck, anxious, or discouraged can be deeply frustrating and isolating—but there is a path forward. Change is possible, and I’m here to help guide you through it.

I work best with adults who are curious, thoughtful, and open to exploring new ways of thinking and responding. The most common concerns I support clients with include anxiety (worry, stress, fear), low self-esteem, assertive communication, and depression. I also screen for sleep issues—because when sleep is disrupted, it can significantly impact emotional well-being and make progress in therapy more difficult.

In addition to these core areas, I often help clients set meaningful goals related to boundaries, life transitions, and relationships. I offer practical tools and strategies that can help you take action, shift negative thinking, increase self-compassion, and feel more in control of your life.

Therapy with me is active and collaborative. We’ll start by gaining a full understanding of what’s bringing you in, and then create a clear, focused plan for moving forward. I’ll provide a structure and evidence-based techniques, and you’ll play an active role in practicing new skills between sessions. Research—and my own clinical experience—shows that the clients who benefit most from therapy are those willing to engage in the work both inside and outside of sessions.

I use the TEAM-CBT model developed by Dr. David Burns, which is a powerful and structured form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also integrate elements from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and have completed 19 hours of training for CBT-I for insomnia from Dr. Colleen Carney.

To track your progress, I incorporate weekly surveys to help us stay focused and make adjustments as needed. Successful therapy often results in a significant reduction in negative moods, increased enjoyment of daily life, and most importantly, the confidence to apply the tools you've learned well beyond the therapy room.

If you're ready to start making meaningful changes, I’d be honored to work with you.
