About My Practice

Seeking help can feel overwhelming, especially when you're looking for the right support. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, disability, or life’s challenges, your goal is likely to feel better, regain confidence, and build lasting resilience. I offer a safe, supportive space where we can work through these challenges together and develop practical tools for lasting change.

In therapy, we’ll break things down into manageable steps and build a toolkit you can use long after therapy ends. My goal is to help you become your own therapist by teaching you research-backed techniques that ensure your time and effort are truly impactful.

I frequently work with individuals facing concerns such as depression, anxiety, disabilities, health changes, PTSD, and autism. I especially enjoy working with clients who actively engage in therapy, as real progress often comes from practicing new skills between sessions—just as we train for physical fitness, we must do the same for mental fitness.

I’ve been trained in a variety of theoretical orientations (psychodynamic, acceptance & commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness..), which I may integrate into the TEAM-CBT framework if appropriate. I focus mainly on TEAM-CBT since it is known for its effectiveness in creating lasting change quickly. If appropriate, I also use my background as a neuropsychometrist to help identify your strengths through assessment.

Having faced similar challenges myself, I understand the power of shared experiences and am open to discussing mine if you believe it would be helpful. My approach fosters faster progress while equipping you with the tools to manage future difficulties confidently and independently, teaching you to become your own therapist.
