About My Practice

Hoskins Medical Center (HMC) Behavioral Health provides compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health and substance use services designed to support individuals throughout treatment and recovery. HMC offers mental health and substance use assessments, individual and group counseling, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services, DUI assessments and treatment, relapse prevention, recovery support, and services for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The goal is to provide accessible, person-centered care that promotes stability, recovery, and long-term wellness.

Joseph Campbell, LCSW, serves as the Clinical Director, Billing Supervisor, and DUI Clinical Services Supervisor for HMC Behavioral Health. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of behavioral health experience, Joseph provides clinical leadership and oversight while also working directly with adult clients. His clinical work includes individual therapy, trauma treatment, co-occurring disorders, crisis intervention, court-ordered assessments, and problem gambling services. His therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, EMDR, TF-CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Joseph is also involved in expanding HMC’s problem gambling services and is working toward the International Certified Gambling Counselor-I (ICGC-I) credential. He is a member of the National Council on Problem Gambling and the Kentucky Council on Problem Gambling.

Together, Joseph and the HMC Behavioral Health team work to create a supportive, trauma-informed environment where individuals are treated with dignity and given the tools and support needed to pursue meaningful, lasting change.
