About My Practice

Are you looking to overcome a particular problem, feel less depressed or anxious, improve your relationships with others, or better cope with every day struggles that life can bring? We all pass through different seasons in our life, and occasionally we get stuck in a certain season that leaves us unhappy, dissatisfied, conflicted or worried. Sometimes learning a few new tools that help us change the way we think can dramatically change the way we feel, moving us forward again. Finding peace and joy is an important part of our journey toward better physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellness. I work with adults utilizing evidence-based approaches that help enhance one’s resiliency to personal struggles. My style is active and is grounded in an unconditional respect for each client with a focus on one’s strengths and a compassionate connection. I am Level 2 certified in TEAM-CBT. Additionally, I have training in trauma informed care and have worked with many families who have been joined through domestic and international adoption. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker with supervisor designation, I have over fifteen years of experience.
