About My Practice
If anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, or the pressure to hold everything together have left you feeling exhausted, overextended, or like you can never fully switch off, I want you to know: you're not broken, and you don't have to keep white-knuckling through it. Whether you've been carrying this for years or something has recently shifted, therapy can help you find real relief , often faster than you'd expect.
I'm a Registered Nurse, Psychotherapist based in Stoney Creek, Hamilton, offering virtual sessions across Ontario and in-person sessions locally. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, self-doubt, people-pleasing, and relationship difficulties. Many of them high-performing women, educators, and professionals who are excellent at holding space for everyone else and have quietly run out of room to hold space for themselves.
My approach is grounded in TEAM-CBT, an evidence-based method developed by Dr. David Burns that goes beyond simply talking about what's wrong. We identify what's actually driving your emotions, work through the beliefs keeping you stuck, and use practical, collaborative tools to create change you can feel between sessions — not just insight, but movement. Depending on what you need, I also draw on Brainspotting and Somatic Stress Release™ to work with what talk therapy alone sometimes can't reach, the anxiety and tension that live in the body, not just the mind. For clients who want it, I can also integrate Reiki into our work together, or offer it as a standalone session.
As a Registered Nurse, Psychotherapist, I bring over a decade of nursing experience into the therapy room including extensive time on a postpartum floor, in the NICU, and in community work with prenatal and postpartum mothers. That foundation shapes how I practice: with clinical steadiness, compassion, and the ability to sit with people in some of the most vulnerable, high-stakes moments of their lives.
My hope is that our work together becomes more than a place to feel heard. I want it to be where you reconnect with yourself, rebuild confidence, and leave with tools you'll keep using long after our sessions end. I offer evening appointments for people whose schedules don't leave room for anything else, and I'm proud to be an approved NIHB provider.
Wherever you're starting from, I'd be honored to help you take the next step.
