About My Practice

Traditional therapy can often feel like endless conversations with relatively limited results. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or unwanted habits and addictions and you’re ready to make change using concrete techniques, I can help. My clients learn to change their thoughts and feelings with steadfast results.

I use the TEAM-CBT approach to therapy that is both efficient and effective in creating lasting change. We will identify your unique needs, develop an effective treatment plan, and utilize powerful techniques that last a lifetime. My clients find that the process itself gives them the confidence to carry out the plan because it is clear and makes sense. Your commitment to the process, like homework in-between sessions, also makes this treatment effective. Throughout it, we’ll monitor your progress to ensure you’re on the right track to healing and wellness.

My confidence in this process is grounded in 20 years of experience, my CBT certification through the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, and my training and affiliation with the Feeling Good Institute. I am committed to working with diverse clients using a culturally responsive approach because the trust that comes with this understanding and empathy, are also vital to the way we work together. Many of my clients reach their goals within 8 to 12 hour-long weekly sessions. An intensive format (longer sessions over a shorter period of time) is also an option if that works better for you. If you're interested in a free 15-minute video consultation to see if we're a good fit, I'd love to connect with you.
