About My Practice

Welcome - I am truly grateful you are here! Beginning therapy takes courage, and you do not have to walk this path alone. Whether you are carrying anxiety, depression, addiction, ADHD, or relational pain, I believe meaningful healing is possible with the right framework and tools.

I aim to provide a compassionate, supportive space where we work together to understand the “why” behind the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Many people come to therapy feeling frustrated that simply talking about their problems has not created the lasting change they hoped for. I am certified in TEAM-CBT, a therapeutic framework designed to offer a more intentional, structured, and goal-oriented experience while still maintaining warmth, empathy, and genuine human connection. Together, we clarify meaningful goals, track progress over time, and use practical, research-supported tools that help create real change—not just insight. Sessions are collaborative, active, and focused on what matters most to you, helping you build confidence, break unhelpful patterns, and develop skills you can continue using long after therapy ends. If you are looking for therapy that is thoughtful, action-focused, and designed to help you move forward with clarity and hope, this approach may be a strong fit for you.

For clients struggling with OCD, I also incorporate Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), a specialized approach that helps individuals disengage from obsessive doubt and feared narratives by strengthening trust in present-moment reality and reasoning. This approach is especially effective for treating OCD without reinforcing reassurance-seeking or compulsive cycles, or for those who have found ERP to be ineffective for them in the past.

I currently offer in-person therapy during daytime hours at my Wheaton, IL office and virtual therapy for clients in Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa.
