About My Practice

 

Nivedita Singh is a psychotherapist, trainer, and supervisor with over three decades of experience in mental health. Based in New Delhi, India, she is the Founder of Meta Counsel, a mental health edtech organization focused on bridging the gap between psychological theory and real-world clinical competence through rigorous, skills-based training.


Her clinical work is grounded in TEAM-CBT, delivered through a structured, measurement-driven, and trauma-informed approach. She is also trained in multiple evidence-based modalities, including RECBT (Albert Ellis Institute, New York), Transactional Analysis (TA), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), allowing her to work effectively with complex cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

Nivedita works across both clinical and systems levels. In addition to her private practice, she designs and strengthens mental health ecosystems within institutions—building integrated, accountable frameworks that enable consistent, outcome-oriented care at scale.


As an educator and visiting faculty member, she teaches postgraduate programs in counseling and psychotherapy at leading universities and has co-authored several articles and publications. Through her work at Meta Counsel, she champions right-skilling in psychotherapy, with a strong emphasis on deliberate practice, precision, and measurable outcomes.
