About My Practice

I am Stephanie Day Morfitt, LCSW, and I help women who are tired of overthinking, carrying everyone else’s emotional load, and feeling anxious despite doing everything “right.” My practice, More Fit Mental Health, is built around one clear goal, helping women feel truly better in ways that last, not just temporarily calmer. I offer a warm, direct, and supportive space that balances empathy with momentum.

 

I am based in Los Angeles, with an office in West Los Angeles for in person sessions, and I also offer telehealth throughout California and Oregon. My work is grounded in TEAM CBT, known for producing meaningful and measurable change. Therapy with me is active, focused, and collaborative, with clear goals, regular progress tracking, and practical tools you can use immediately in real life.

 

Most of my clients appear capable and put together on the outside, while internally feeling overwhelmed, self critical, or stuck in loops of worry, perfectionism, and people pleasing. Anxiety may show up as constant mental chatter, tension, panic, relationship & dating stress, or a sense that you can never fully shut off. You do not need more coping tricks, you need a path out of the cycle.

 

While many women experience relief relatively quickly, what excites me most is helping clients create change that actually sticks. We focus on understanding the patterns that keep anxiety in place, building confidence from the inside out, and developing skills that continue working long after therapy ends.
