Workshop Overview
Shame is an important but often overlooked emotion that plays a prominent role in depression, all of the anxiety disorders, and common responses to trauma. In addition, our teaching has confirmed that many mental health professionals also struggle with shame, thinking they are not "good enough" or skillful enough, although many hide these feelings from others and suffer alone.
