How did you discover TEAM-CBT?
I was introduced to TEAM-CBT by Sunny Choi, LCSW who was a prior colleague of mine.
What are your specialties / clients you love to work with?
I am passionate about working with couples. Sustaining a relationship long term can be challenging. I enjoy helping couples maintain a lasting loving relationship.
Additionally, I enjoy working with adults and anxiety. I am also certified in CBT-I for insomnia. Relationships, peace of mind and sleep are so important!
What is your favorite TEAM-CBT technique?
Double Standard technique because it combines self compassion with a fun yet impactful role play.
What are you reading or listening to?
Listening to David's Burn's Feeling Good Podcast as well as a podcast on couples therapy called The Leading Edge in Emotionally Focused Therapy
Reading books on relationships: Attached by Levine and Heller as well as The Love Prescription by Gottman
I love learning and reading a lot so I'm sure I'll be listening to and reading something new soon after I'm done with what I'm doing now!
Please share a fun fact about yourself.
I have a lot of experience growing and tending to rose plants and roses. I particularly enjoy old garden and English style roses. I inherited my love of roses from my mother and grandmother.
